Like, OMG! Why had I never heard of this band before?! If you’re a fan of C-86 bands, Brit Indiepop or twee in general, you will LOVE this. Just perfect boy pop songs with nice variations on catchy jangle, eighties style (but without those dated angular rhythms). Think Shop Assistants (who they shared a split debut flexi with), Talulah Gosh, maybe a little Razorcuts. A touch of Orange Juice, etc. They were a Subway band (Flatmates!). This CD compiles tracks from their various singles, Eps and albums. I’m too lazy to go on. If you like all or most of the bands I mentioned, you will dig this for sure.
