Another in a series of GREAT achievements by the Corrs, the best songwriters, singers, musicians, and performers of their time. Here they have a go at electrified pop, out-Shania-ing Shania(whose husband handles production duties on “Breathless”, “Irresistable”, and “All the Love In the World”)simply by addressing themselves to that format, and tacking on some of their best tracks ever (“Somebody For Someone”, “No More Cry”, “At Your Side”, and Sharon’s “Radio”)for good measure.
That this band hasn’t RULED the USA for the last 10 years remains a mystery, and a shame. That they have not reached the status of a sort of “Irish Beatles” says more about the pathetic state of American corporate radio programming than anything within the band’s control.
But the rest of the world is well aware.
Buy this record, and then buy all of their records. You’ll have a new favorite band for a very long time.
